Business website design: complete and easy to find

Looking for business website design that does more than look good? With Business you get up to 8 pages, each focused on what your clients search for. I write the copy with you and set everything up to be found in Google and AI assistants.

What you get

  • Everything in Starter: design, copy, contact form, extra languages and two feedback rounds
  • Up to 8 pages, for mobile and desktop
  • Copy for every page, written with you with help from AI
  • Full SEO per page: its own title, description and structure
  • Structured data, so search engines understand who you are and what you do
  • Google Search Console and Bing set up
  • Analytics without a cookie banner
  • Setting up your DNS once, and the launch

Not included

  • A logo, brand identity or photo shoot
  • Moving a lot of content from your old site, such as a blog archive
  • More than 8 pages and extra feedback rounds. That's extra work
  • Your own content editor to change the text yourself. That comes with Business Plus
  • Your domain name and its costs
  • Ongoing SEO work, ads and social media after launch

Exactly what is and is not included is set out in the terms.

Who it's for

Several services

You offer a few different services and want to be found for each of them. Every service gets its own page, with its own title in Google.

Consultants and trainers

You sell expertise and trust. Visitors want to read how you work before they get in touch. That needs more room than a single page.

Businesses that have grown

Your one-pager or old site no longer fits what you do now. You want to show who you are, how you work and what clients get from you.

What business website design includes

Business is the package for a complete website, with up to 8 pages. Think of a homepage, a page for each service, a page about you or your team, how you work and contact. I agree the pages with you. Everything in Starter is included, such as the copy, extra languages and two feedback rounds.

The biggest difference from a one-pager is findability. Each page focuses on one topic, and so on the search terms that go with it. Someone searching for your second service lands straight on the right page instead of a general homepage.

Getting found in Google and AI assistants

SEO stands for search engine optimisation: building your site so search engines understand it properly. With Business I do that page by page. Every page gets its own title and description for the search results, a clear structure with headings, and copy that answers what people are searching for.

I also add structured data. That's extra information in the code that visitors don't see but search engines do. It says, for example, who you are, what you offer and where you work. That helps Google and AI assistants such as ChatGPT place your business correctly.

Finally, I register your site with Google Search Console and with Bing. Search Console is a free Google service. It shows which search terms you're found for and whether Google runs into any errors. There's more in getting found in Google and ChatGPT.

Analytics without a cookie banner

You want to know whether your site is doing its job: how many visitors come, which pages they read and where they come from. I use analytics that work without tracking cookies. So you don't need to put a cookie banner in front of your visitors for the analytics. That's nicer for them, and your site looks calmer.

Together with Search Console, you see how people find you and what they do next. If you choose Care after launch, you also get a findability report every quarter, with what could be better.

Business or another package?

If you have one main service and mostly want people to get in touch, a one-page website is often enough. If you want to edit text yourself, publish articles or keep a knowledge base, have a look at a website with a CMS.

With Business, I make changes for you. Hosting includes one small text change each month. Care gives you 3 hours a month for changes and new content.

Need just a few more than 8 pages? Then that's listed as extra work in your proposal, so you know the cost up front. All packages side by side are on the pricing page.

How it works

  1. 1

    Intro call

A free 30-minute call about what you do, for whom, and which services you want to be found for.

  2. 2

    Proposal

You get the pages, a fixed price and a schedule laid out. Agreed? You pay half and I start.

  3. 3

    Build

I write the copy with you, build the site and set up the SEO for each page. You follow along on an online preview.

  4. 4

    Feedback

You send your comments in one go and I process them. Two feedback rounds are included in the price.

  5. 5

    Live

The site goes live on your own domain and I register it with Search Console and Bing. Your email keeps working. Then you pay the second half.

An example

Example: The Diversity Company

The Diversity Company advises and trains boards and executive teams on diversity, inclusion and leadership. Hélène Propsma wanted a clean, warm and calm site, with ‘as few bells and whistles as possible’. She got three design directions and picked the calmest one. The site is in Dutch and English, with six workshop pages that each have a downloadable brochure. At 13 pages per language it's larger than Business, but the approach is the same.

Frequently asked questions

Can you promise I'll be at the top of Google?

No, nobody can honestly promise that. How high you rank also depends on your competitors and on what you do after launch. I make sure the foundations are right: fast pages, good titles, structured data and registration with Search Console and Bing.

What if I need more than 8 pages?

Adding a few extra pages is possible as extra work, at €95 per hour. That's stated in your proposal up front. If you need many more pages, or want to manage them yourself, Business Plus, with up to about 20 pages, is often the better choice.

Can I change anything on the site myself with Business?

Not through your own content editor, that comes with Business Plus. With Business I make the changes for you. Hosting includes one small change of about 30 minutes each month, and Care gives you more time.

Can I add a newsletter or an online scan later?

Yes. Add-ons such as a newsletter, an interactive scan or AI on your site work with any package, right away or later. You get a separate price for them up front.
