Who it's for

Freelancers

You're a coach, consultant, tradesperson or photographer and want to show what you do online, without spending weeks writing the text yourself.

Start-ups

Your business has just started. Anyone who looks up your name should quickly find something that's right. You can expand later.

One service or event

You have one offer, course or event you want to present well. One page with one clear call to action often works best.

What is a one-page website?

A one-page website, or one-pager, is a site with a single page. Everything sits one below the other and visitors scroll down instead of clicking through a menu. A short menu at the top jumps to the right part.

That sounds limited, but for many businesses it's exactly enough. A visitor usually wants to know three things: what do you do, is it for me, and how do I get in touch. A good one-pager answers those questions without making anyone search.

A one-pager isn't a half-finished website. The page is just as fast, just as carefully built and just as readable for Google as a larger site. It's simply shorter.

What goes on your one-pager?

I shape the page around what you do. It usually opens with who you are and what you do, in a sentence or two, with a button to get in touch. Below that come your services, briefly explained and with who they're for.

Then a part about you: why you do this work and how you work. Feedback from clients gets a place, and sometimes a few frequently asked questions. At the bottom is the contact form, with your email address and phone number.

I write the copy with you. You tell me what you do and for whom, and I turn that into clear text with help from AI. You read and approve everything before it goes online. A second language costs nothing extra.

Is a one-page website enough for you?

A one-pager works well if you have one main service, or a few closely related ones. If most people find you through your name, your network or LinkedIn. And if what you mainly want is for them to get in touch.

It gets tight when you have several services that each need to be found in Google on their own, because one page can only focus on a few search terms. The same goes if you want to be found in several towns or want to publish articles. Then a business website with several pages is the better choice.

Not sure? I set out the differences in one-page or multi-page website. In the intro call I'll also tell you honestly what I would choose.

Growing into more pages later

A one-pager is a good start. When your offer grows, pages can be added later. Your design, copy and domain stay. For the step up to Business I'll make a proposal. If you have Care, you can also use your 3 hours a month for a single new page.

After launch you choose how things continue: Hosting, Care or managing the site yourself. What each option does and doesn't include is explained under hosting and maintenance.

How it works

  1. 1

    Intro call

A free 30-minute call. You tell me what you do and for whom. I'll tell you honestly whether a one-pager is enough.

  2. 2

    Proposal

You get a fixed price and a schedule. Agreed? You pay half and I schedule the work.

  3. 3

    Build

I write the copy with you and design and build the page. You follow along on an online preview.

  4. 4

    Feedback

You send your comments in one go and I process them. Two feedback rounds are included in the price.

  5. 5

    Live

I set up the DNS once and your page goes live on your own domain. Your email keeps working. Then you pay the second half.

Frequently asked questions

Can a one-page website rank well in Google?

Yes, for your name and your main service. I make sure of a good page title, a clear structure and the technical basics that let Google and AI assistants read your page properly. If you want to be found for lots of different search terms, you need more pages.

What does a one-pager cost after launch?

You choose Hosting for €39 a month, or Care for €100 a month with 3 hours of work. Prefer no monthly costs? With Self-managed you pay a one-off €195 and I move the site to your own hosting. You pay for your domain name with your own provider.

I don't have a logo yet. Is that a problem?

No. A logo or brand identity isn't part of the package, but a one-pager can start perfectly well with your name in a calm typeface and one or two colours. If you get a logo later, adding it is a small change.

Can I get a one-page website for an event or a temporary project?

Yes. A one-pager suits an event, a training course or a campaign well: what it is, when, where and how people get in touch. Once it's over, you can leave the page up, change it or take it offline. Hosting and Care can be cancelled monthly, with one month's notice.
