An online assessment or calculator for your website

With an online assessment or calculator, visitors answer a few questions, see their result straight away and get a report by email. They gain insight into their own situation. You get a good reason to start a conversation.

What you get

  • A questionnaire or calculator in the style of your website
  • Your questions, answer options and calculation rules turned into a working whole
  • An instant result on screen, with a chart where it helps
  • A report by email for the person who filled it in
  • The details of people who request a report, if they give their consent
  • Help wording the questions and result texts

Not included

  • The expertise itself. The model and the advice come from you, and you remain responsible for the content.
  • Scientific validation. An assessment is a conversation starter, not a validated test.
  • A link with your CRM or mailing system, unless it's in the quote.
  • Larger changes after launch, such as new questions. These fall under Care or cost €95 per hour.

Exactly what is and is not included is set out in the terms.

Who it's for

Consultants and coaches

You work with your own model. An assessment lets visitors experience how you think, before they've spoken to you.

Trainers and course providers

You show people where they stand, or help them choose the training that suits them.

Services with a pricing question

People keep asking what something costs or saves. A calculator gives a first indication.

Why an online assessment or calculator works

A contact form asks visitors to take the first step straight away. Not everyone is ready for that. An assessment or calculator gives them something first: insight into their own situation, or a first idea of what something costs or could save. The visitor leaves with something useful, and you have a natural reason to get in touch.

Anyone who asks for the report by email leaves their email address. With their consent, those details come to you. They are personal data: you are responsible for them and I process them on your behalf, under my data processing agreement.

Assessment or calculator: what's the difference?

An assessment, or scan, is a questionnaire grouped into a number of topics. The result shows how someone scores on each topic, often in a chart, with a short explanation or advice.

A calculator works with numbers. The visitor enters a few figures and immediately sees an outcome. Think of a price calculator that shows roughly what a service costs, or a savings calculator that works out what a change could deliver.

From your expertise to a working assessment

The knowledge is yours: which questions matter and what a result means. I help you make that clear. I write the texts for the questions and results with you, with help from AI. You approve everything, then I build the assessment in the style of your site.

That's how I built the Legacy Discovery for Breach Your Legacy: an assessment across 6 dimensions with a radar chart and a report by email. A radar chart is a web-shaped chart that shows at a glance how someone scores on each part. In fairness: I'm a board member of Breach Your Legacy myself.

Price and planning

An assessment or calculator costs from €495, excl. VAT. I always make a quote to fit. The price depends on the number of questions, the calculation rules, charts, the report and any links with other systems. Running costs of external services, if any, are in it up front.

It works with every package: Starter, Business and Business Plus. Have it built straight away or add it later, even once your site is live. See the prices of all packages, or read how a project runs on how it works.

How it works

  1. 1

    Intro call

We discuss what your visitors want to find out or calculate, and what you want to do with the result.

  2. 2

    Quote to fit

You get a proposal with price and schedule. Agreed? Then I start.

  3. 3

    Work out the content

Together we put the topics, questions and calculation rules on paper.

  4. 4

    Build and test

You try the assessment out on an online preview. You give feedback and I process it.

  5. 5

    Live

The assessment is on your site and the first reports go out.

An example

Example: the Future Readiness Scan for Crossing Futures

Through Crossing Futures, Bart Brouwer helps small and mid-sized companies with strategy based on future scenarios. For his site I built the Future Readiness Scan: 18 questions across 6 dimensions, based on the WEF future fitness model. Visitors see their result in charts and get a report by email. So the site doesn't just inform people, it starts conversations.

Frequently asked questions

What does an online assessment or calculator cost?

From €495, excl. VAT. You always get a quote to fit, because the price depends on the number of questions, the calculation rules, charts, the report and any links with other systems.

Do I have to come up with the questions myself?

The expertise comes from you, because it's about your field. I help you turn it into clear questions and results, and write the texts with you.

Do I get the details of people who fill it in?

From those who request a report and give their consent, yes. In your privacy statement you explain what you do with that data.

Can I change the questions later?

Yes. A small text change is included in Hosting. New questions or different calculation rules I handle through Care, or at €95 per hour.

Can I add an assessment later?

Yes. It works with every package and you can also add it once your site is live.
