For freelancers

A website for freelancers, often live within a week

As a freelancer you want a website that's right, that clients can find and that doesn't keep you from your work for weeks. I build a website for freelancers for a fixed price, copywriting included. It's often online within a week, on your own domain.

What freelancers run into with their website

No time to work on it

You earn your money with your trade, not your website. Filling in a site builder yourself takes evenings, and the copy never gets written.

Unclear costs

With an agency you often don't know up front what it'll cost, and you pay for hours you never see. You want to know where you stand.

Not being found

A nice site nobody finds doesn't bring anything in. When someone searches for your trade in your area, you want to be there.

What your website needs to do as a freelancer

A visitor wants to know three things within seconds: what do you do, is it for me, and how do I get in touch. A good website answers those questions without anyone having to search. Often that's all it takes.

It also needs to build trust. Your own domain, your face, your story and your Chamber of Commerce number show there's a real business behind it. An email address on your own domain helps too: I arrange a business mailbox for €5 per mailbox per month. Keeping your current email is fine too.

Getting found in your trade and your area

Your site is fast, technically clean and contains the details Google and AI assistants such as ChatGPT need to understand what you do and where. Put your service area and your services on it in concrete terms: someone searching for your trade in your town should see that you work there.

If you have a few services that each need to be found on their own, or you work in several places, a site with more pages fits better. How to choose is covered in one-page or multi-page website. More on findability is in getting found in Google and ChatGPT.

A fixed price, also after launch

You know what it costs up front. Starter costs €795, one-off and excluding VAT. You pay half at the start and half at launch. After that you choose Hosting for €39 a month, or you take the site with you and manage it yourself, for a one-off €195.

No contract you can't get out of: Hosting can be cancelled monthly. And your site is yours. If you want to continue with someone else later, you get everything.

Which package suits a freelancer?

Each package includes everything in the one before. Feel free to start small: you can expand later, and your design, copy and domain stay.

Portfolio

What my work looks like

Two sites from my portfolio, both for consultants: a calm, bilingual site with its own content editor and an assessment, and a site that replaced an outdated WordPress site without losing search visibility.

Frequently asked questions

What does a website cost for a freelancer?

Starter costs €795, one-off and excluding VAT. After that you pay €39 a month for Hosting, or you manage the site yourself. All prices are on the pricing page.

Is a one-pager enough for a freelancer?

Often it is. If you have one main service and mainly want people to get in touch, one strong page is enough. If you have several services that each need to be found, choose Business.

Do I have to write the copy myself?

No. You tell me what you do and for whom. I write the copy with help from AI, and you approve it before it goes online.

How quickly will my website be online?

A one-pager is often live within a week. How fast it goes depends mostly on how quickly texts, photos and feedback come in.

Can I expand later?

Yes. If your offer grows, pages can be added. Your design, copy and domain stay. For the step to Business I make a proposal, so you know the cost up front.

Do I need my own domain name?

Yes, and it's always in your name. If you already have one, I set up the DNS once. If you don't, I register one for you, alongside Hosting or Care, for €25 a year.
